Student timetables
Please refer to the information below about individual student timetables. Until your individual timetable is ready, please refer to the course and module timetables available on this webpage.
If you have any queries relating to your timetable, please email the Timetabling team.
Individual timetables
When it's ready, your individual timetable will be available to view via Celcat Calendar. Timetables will only be available to students who have fully completed registration and been attached to their modules. Timetables will be released in stages depending on when students have registered so please read on for details.
Before your individual timetable is ready, please refer to the course and module timetables that will be published on this webpage on 11 August.
New students
- Students who complete registration on or before 31 August will receive their timetable on 5 September.
- Students who complete registration between 1 September and 4 September will receive their timetable on 10 September.
- Students who complete registration on 5 September or later will receive their timetable in three working days.
Continuing students
- Students who complete registration on or before 10 August will receive their timetable on 15 August.
- Students who complete registration on or before 17 August will receive their timetable on 22 August.
- Students who complete registration on or before 24 August will receive their timetable on 29 August.
- Students who complete registration on or before 31 August will receive their timetable on 5 September.
- Students who complete registration between 1 September and 4 September will receive their timetable on 10 September.
- Students who complete on 5 September or later will receive their timetable in three working days.
Students who had Tri C teaching, placement or resit exams
- Students who fully register on or before 5 September will receive their timetable on 12 September.
Students repeating one or more modules this academic year
- Students who fully register on or before 12 September will receive their timetable on 26 September. In the meantime, these students should refer to the 25/26 course and module timetables available from 11 August.
Please note that you might be able to login to Celcat Calendar earlier than the date advertised but we may still be in the process of allocating you to all your classes, so it's important that you check again on the date advertised.

Please note:
- When it is ready, your individual student timetable (IST) is available to view via Celcat Calendar.
- Your login details with be the username and password that you use to access other GCU systems.
- Please make sure that you use your GCU username and not your GCU email address.
- Individual student timetables are only available to students who have fully registered for 2025/26. If you have not registered yet, you will not be able to access your timetable so please refer to the course and module timetables in the meantime.
- Timetables are released based on when students register so please refer to the publication dates to see when you will receive your timetable.
- Please note that you might be able to log in to your timetable sooner than the publication date but we may still be in the process of allocating you to all your classes so please check again on your publication date.
- Your IST is weekly and not all modules run each week, therefore please check each week.
- Your IST is updated in real-time as changes to your timetable occur, including changes to locations, or to seminar group allocations.
- Timetables may be subject to minor amendments so it is vital that you check your IST on a regular basis.
- If you have queries regarding your optional modules, please contact your school office.
In addition to your IST, we offer an iCal feed, to allow you to get access your GCU timetable via your smartphone or mobile device.
Modern versions of client calendars such as MS Outlook, iCal, and Google Calendar as well as calendars on smart and mobile devices, such as Android and iOS have the ability to subscribe to CELCAT calendar feeds. Once you've subscribed you can forget about the service – you don't need to manually refresh the data or reconfigure your calendar for each new academic year.

Course and module timetables for 24/25 are linked below.
These are general timetables that will give you an idea of what days you will have on-campus events and when you will have online activities to attend. They will show the teaching activities for all the groups on your course or module so might not accurately reflect your final timetable, so you should only refer to these until you receive your individual timetable.
While every attempt will be made to minimize any alterations to these timetables, in some circumstances changes may be unavoidable.
