Our vision is to proactively support the mental health and wellbeing of our people and promote a healthy learning and working environment.
We've taken a whole university approach to ensure the wellbeing of all our staff and students based on the Universities UK Step Change framework and through our strategic engagement with sector projects and partners. These include our ongoing partnership with the Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH), our work with the Student Minds’ University Mental Health Charter, and our Student Mental Health Agreements.
The University regularly hosts events and campaigns to raise awareness and tackle mental health issues in a supportive and authentic way, creating an open culture that encourages engagement with the available support.
