The vast majority of our graduates find work or further study within six months of graduating, and we offer a variety of innovative, specialised courses. The lecturers for your chosen course will have good industry contacts to help you with placements and future career opportunities. The hub of the campus is our striking Sir Alex Ferguson Library which houses hundreds of thousands of books, 1200 study spaces, over 350 computers and the University’s Archives and Special Collections.
There are also “think pods” with whiteboards for group study, and private “inflatable igloo” study areas.
With a virtual hospital, high-tech broadcasting suite, fashion factory and even an online Second Life campus, Glasgow Caledonian University puts a lot of effort into helping you enjoy your programme and gain the professional skills and knowledge employers want.
Our single-site campus is friendly, personal and close-knit. You’ll be on first-name terms with your lecturers and the campus design makes it easy to meet friends and classmates for breaks or study sessions. Not only that, but it sits right in the middle of the city near to all transport links.
Facilities such as our Campus Life Desk - our one-stop information and support centre offering help with everything from borrowing laptops to getting council tax rebates - have helped us win awards for our student support, including the Times Higher Education Outstanding Support for Overseas Students award.
