Education agent
What is the role of an education agent?
At Glasgow Caledonian University, we're committed to making your journey to studying with us as smooth and accessible as possible. To achieve this, we work closely with a good number of trusted education agencies worldwide who provide personalised support to students considering studying with us.
Our education agents are authorised partners who offer expert advice and guidance tailored to the needs of international students. Whether you're exploring your options or ready to apply, they'll help you every step of the way.
They can offer recommendations about courses and study destinations based on your career aspirations, qualifications and experience, while also considering your budget.
Details of our agents can be found on our country/region pages. If your country is not listed, please contact international@gcu.ac.uk.
How can our education agents assist you?
- Help you discover more about the cost of living and studying in the UK
- Provide detailed information on our entry requirements, tuition fees, and international scholarships
- Support you in selecting a course that aligns with your interests and career aspirations
- Guide you through the application process, ensuring all requirements are met
- Offer support with the visa application process
- Provide advice on accommodation options and help you plan your travel to the UK.
If you use one of our authorised education agent partners to provide guidance and support for your application to the university, and you enrol at Glasgow Caledonian University, we will pay your agent a commission fee. Because of this many agents do not charge you a fee directly. However, some agents may charge for additional services, and you are encouraged to discuss any potential costs directly with your chosen representative. Our authorised education agents are regularly monitored to ensure they meet the standards expected by the University and the UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF).
While our authorised education agent partners are available to offer guidance and support throughout the application process, they are not authorised to issue offers of admission or collect tuition fees or deposit payments on behalf of the University. For accurate and secure information on how to pay your deposit or tuition fees to Glasgow Caledonian University, please refer to our How to pay page.
