Why study in Scotland?

Scotland has its own distinctive culture within the UK, famous for its breathtaking scenery, extensive history, and diverse cultural arts. Glasgow ranks in the top 10 in Europe and the top 25 globally for the quality of its education. From creative industries to manufacturing to clinical life sciences, Glasgow has one of the most diverse and dynamic innovation economies in Europe.

Scotland is also a thriving base for industry, energy, and business. Glasgow City Innovation District (GCID) is a global and fast-growing tech hub, so it's a great time to start your university journey. The average cost of living in Scotland is generally lower than the rest of the UK, and with our exciting range of scholarships, you can have an affordable and enjoyable student experience.

While the Scottish weather might keep you guessing, you'll find a consistently welcoming and supportive second home at GCU.
