Strategy, Planning and Insight
The role of Strategy, Planning and Insight within Glasgow Caledonian University covers a range of activities related to the student journey and University performance.
Across the team, we:
- Produce, analyse and communicate information relating to the student body, including student performance, profile and numbers
- Work with Scottish Funding Council to agree objectives for the University's Outcomes Framework
- Monitor progress against these objectives and Glasgow Caledonian key performance indicators
- Monitor how GCU is perceived to perform in the sector, through analysing UK league tables
- Conduct market research to inform programme development
- Coordinate statutory data returns to a range of external agencies
- Provide advice and guidance on issues such as policy and legislative developments, student data and strategic planning, to inform decision-making across the institution.
