Our registration team will send you a registration instruction email to invite you to register when your course opens. To make sure your email does not go into your junk folder, add registration@gcu.ac.uk to your known senders.

Below you will find important information relevant to you as well as registration deadlines for students starting with us in trimester A of 2020-21.

New Students 2020/21

We are looking forward to welcoming our new students for the 2020/21 session.  There have been some changes to the start dates, induction week will now commence on the 29th September 2020 with classes starting on the 5th October 2020.

New students will receive their registration emails from the end of July 2020. This is a staged process, however if you have not received your registration email two weeks before your course start date send us an email, including your student ID and course title so we can forward these to you.  During the registration process you must upload a photograph for your student card to be produced.  Once you have completed all stages, we will send your student card to your term time address that you provide during registration.  We will be sending cards throughout September to all students.

We would usually ask students who have applied for funding to bring in their award letters to be scanned.  This year, we will be reconciling your information directly with SAAS/SLC so that we can confirm registrations automatically once you have completed online registration.  Please ensure that you use the same information with both GCU and your funding body to prevent any delays with your payments.

You can have a look at our coronavirus update pages for the latest campus news and updates.

Continuing students - 2020/21

We will be sending registration instruction emails to continuing students from July 2020.  This is a staged process so you may receive this a bit later depending on your programme of study.  Your log in details will be the same as those you use to access the university computer systems, so if you try to log in and the student portal does not accept your username/password, you can try resetting your password.

There have been changes to the start dates for 2020/21, most courses will now start on the 5th October 2020.  You can keep up to date with the latest information by checking our coronavirus update pages.

If you are awaiting results or have resits over the summer, you can still register as soon as you receive your email.   As soon as your results are published your registration will be confirmed automatically on our systems, or amended if you are not eligible to progress.
