Receiving your student card is the final step in completing your registration with us. Full-time students collect this in person during face-to-face registration.

Full time UK and Irish students

You must ensure that you bring your photographic ID with you when you come to collect your student ID. We cannot accept a photograph of your identification, we must see a physical copy.
Passport Driving license/provisional Young Scot card National Entitlement Card (NEC). If you don't have any of the above, please contact registration@gcu.ac.uk for advice.
Overseas and EU (Non UK/Irish nationals)

You must bring the required ID and documents detailed below or we will be unable to issue your student card. Passport with your entry clearance vignette (including entry date stamp) eVISA UK Immigration ID share code. Please set up now so that you can give us the share code when collecting your card. Your visa decision notification from the Home Office. Proof of term-time address (tenancy agreement or contract). BRP (if applicable). If your share code is delayed until after the start of teaching or you did not get an entry date stamp, you must bring evidence to on-campus registration, and we will advise the next steps. For BRP delay, please bring your notice of delay from the Home Office. For no entry stamp on entering the UK, bring evidence of your flight into the UK, such as your boarding pass.
If your VISA type is not a student VISA, all of the above may not apply to you. Bring as many documents from the list that you do have with you to face to face registration. If you are unsure of what you need to bring with you please contact registration@gcu.ac.uk.
Part-time UK and Irish students

Your student card will be posted to your term time address. So please ensure your term time address is correct and you have provided us with a photograph.
GCU students studying overseas at a partnership university

After you have completed your online registration with GCU, we will post your student card to your university who will distribute your card to you. You should contact them directly for information on this.
