International student welcome

Here at GCU, we strive to help our international students feel part of our community. We provide an extensive welcome programme for students in September, January and May, as well as offering social activities throughout the academic year. All of this allows students to make new connections and get the best experience GCU and Glasgow has to offer.

Try your best to get here for induction week, as well as the start of teaching, to give yourself the best start for success in your studies. If you are unavoidably late, there are deadlines for completing the registration process (that’s completing online registration and collecting your card).

Arriving at Glasgow Caledonian University

At Glasgow Caledonian University, we offer a free pick up service for international students. For students not eligible to use our meet and greet service we have provided Public Transport information and various other ways to get to the University.
