  1. Request admin rights (VPN access required for this step)
  2. Remove previous version of SPSS before installing latest software (if applicable)
  3. Install new version from https://servicedesk.gcu.ac.uk/software*

Versions available

There are currently two versions available: 24 and 26. 26 is the latest version and we recommend installing this version.

Licenses renew every year with the Work at Home, Distance Learning keys listed at the bottom of https://servicedesk.gcu.ac.uk/software*.

Exclusions for Chromebook and MacOS v11 (Big Sur) users

Available versions of SPSS are not compatible with Chromebook operating systems or MacOS version 11 (Big Sur).

You can instead access SPSS using the GCU remote labs service

How do I renew the SPSS Licence once it has ran out?

The licence expiry date is mentioned at the bottom of https://servicedesk.gcu.ac.uk/software.
