GCU students
Study abroad as part of your degree
Your student years represent a great chance to stretch your wings and experience new things. Studying a part of your course abroad impresses future employers, teaches you valuable life skills and provides lasting memories and friendships. You could even learn a new language.
We offer opportunities for Glasgow Caledonian students to gain international experience through either semester-long exchanges or short-term opportunities.
The next running application round is for current second year students as of September 2026, to undertake a semester or year-long exchange in 2027/28.

Short-term opportunities
If you're unable to commit to a long-term exchange, or if you’d like to sample what it’s like to study abroad before committing to an exchange, we have lots of exciting short-term opportunities for you.
