Saying no to disposable food containers

To support the University's journey towards zero waste, BaxterStorey (GCU's catering partner) have introduced a 40p for every hot meal sold to take away in a single-use, disposable container. Meals purchased using re-useable containers or crockery are exempt from the 40p charge.

As part of the initiative, re-useable containers are on sale from every catering outlet and include a free first fill.
