Sustainability funding

Glasgow Caledonian University Students and Staff can now apply for funding for their ideas, initiatives or projects which could help to develop sustainability at the University.

Green Your Group funding, delivered in partnership with the GCU Student’s Association, is available for all student groups and societies. The funding could be used for purchasing eco-friendly and Fairtrade equipment, delivering sustainability workshops, organise events such as a clothing swaps or use the funding towards any other sustainability project/idea. You can apply for up to £150 for each initiative, project or activity that you think would help to enhance your group’s sustainability. Similarly, staff are welcomed to submit their ideas on sustainability projects or initiatives through this form.

When submitting your idea, you would need to provide an overview of the project/activity or event as well as outline what the funds would be used for. Note that all of the student and staff projects will be assessed on case-by-case basis by the University’s Sustainability Team and Forum. If you have any further questions about the funding process, e-mail sustainability@gcu.ac.uk
