2023 industry prizes for SCEBE students

Our annual School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment (SCEBE) Prizegiving is an opportunity to recognise the outstanding achievements of our students. Much more than a financial reward, the awards can very often boost confidence and motivation as our students prepare to enter the final year of their studies, as well as being an accolade to help secure future employment.

Industry prizes are available for the best third-year student, in terms of academic performance, across all courses within SCEBE. The top-performing student on each undergraduate course will receive a £250 prize, as well as opportunities to engage with a leading company aligned to their area of study. Our prize donors generously commit a further £250 that goes into our school's STEAM Fund to help widen access and diversity into science, technology, engineering, arts and maths-related programmes at GCU, further boosting the future talent pipeline.

As a prize donor, the GCU Foundation team will work with you to connect you to your recipient, to ensure you are recognised in all our prizegiving promotions and invite you to our annual SCEBE Celebration event.

Prizes are currently available in the courses:

  • BSc (Hons) Computing
  • BSc (Hons) Information Technology Management for Business
  • BSc (Hons) Digital Design
