GCU Foundation Common Good Bursary

Common Good Scholarships provide vital financial support for undergraduate home students from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those who are estranged and care experienced.

Supported by donors such as Sir Alex Ferguson CBE, Robert and Jeanne Mairs Trust & Sustainability Unlimited, these scholarships are awarded to candidates with the greatest level of need to help ensure that finance is not a barrier to education.

Successful scholarship recipients will receive an annual stipend of £1500 throughout their four-year undergraduate degree (an overall total of £6000) to help support living costs and receive additional support with graduation costs at the completion of their degree.

Common Good Scholarships will reopen early spring to new students commencing their first year of study in September 2024.
