Mature students
Gaining a qualification that can help you make greater progress or even change your career is so rewarding. It can also create lots of opportunities. The idea of returning to or going further with your studies can be slightly daunting but let us assure you that you are not alone. Our student community is diverse in terms of age, background and previous experiences.
Applying to university
You'll find that university entry requirements for those who are not coming directly from school or college are not as fixed. Each of our courses comes with clear instructions as to what qualifications are needed for that particular course. However, for mature students we also take into account:
- evidence of your ability to study at university-level
- evidence of any previous experience or passion for your chosen subject area.
