Summary of content

The module will develop advanced skills in the design and delivery of both qualitative and quantitative research; and advanced analytic skills (such as mutlivariate analysis) across both qualitative and quantitative fields. Students will engage in research design, data collection, analysis and dissemination activities. In addition, students will develop skills in the appraisal of published research. Students will develop a research protocol portfolio detailing a research plan to address a research question of relevance to their programme of interest.
