Summary of content
MSkills has 2 components, Digital literacies and Preparatory Laboratory Skills.
Digital literacies will focus on providing students with an underpinning of digital technology, applications, devices and the Internet to facilitate study at M level. This includes: communication and collaboration, ICT literacy, information literacy, learning skills, media literacy. Students will use a combination of their skills in carrying out research on a given topic and producing a digital portfolio. The development of digital literacies underpins all other taught and research elements of the programme.
Discipline Specific Practical Skills will ensure that all students possess the essential practical skills and knowledge enabling them to effectively and safely conduct experiments in practical classes.
