Summary of content

This module is a work-based learning format that follows on from completion of relevant
assessment and management module to facilitate application of advanced practice skills
in a real-world setting.

Placement time is undertaken in relevant areas of advanced practice to the student’s
role and is intended to engage the learner in reflective practice by collating evidence of
learning via a portfolio submission. The content of the portfolio and development of
specific evidence and content will be dictated by the students identified learning needs;
this may also align with employer needs for students who are sponsored by an organisation.
