Summary of content

The module introduces and develops student's knowledge and understanding of the concept of global health. Political, ethical, economic, societal, technological, environmental, legal, and cultural influences on health will be critically explored to extend the student's understanding of global health. The module will also allow students to engage in global health agendas to address health inequalities in individuals, families, communities and populations. Common Good values and attributes of active and global citizenship, entrepreneurial mind-set, responsible leadership, confidence, integrity, creativity, responsibility and confidence are core to the module.
