The module will aim to allow students to engage with and evaluate current research in myopia and its relevance to clinical practice including risk factors and methods of treatment. Students will be introduced to further techniques used in the monitoring and treatment of myopia including axial length measurement and corneal topography. In sessions, emphasis will be placed on how biometric measures such as axial length measurement and lifestyle risk factors might influence treatment choice and success of treatment.
