Summary of content

At the end of the module the student should be able to:

1. Demonstrate a comprehension of the relevant provisions of competition law and its enforcement at domestic and international level;
2. Critically evaluate the relevant legal framework provided and assess its impact on domestic legal framework;
3. Analyse a given set of facts so as to identify the relevant legal issues arising therefrom; evaluate the relevance of particular factual information, synthesize case law to reinforce legal points and synthesize different points of law when reaching a reasoned conclusion;
4. Identify and retrieve up-to-date legal information, using paper and electronic sources; use primary and secondary legal sources relevant to the topic under study; present knowledge in written form in a way which is comprehensible to others, and which is directed at their concerns; read and discuss legal materials on competition law which are written in technical and complex language.

The delivery of the module will embed SDG principles including:

· developing an inclusive and sustainable global economy
· inculcating global social responsibility, sustainability and responsible leadership
