Summary of content This module provides students with a culminating practice-based learning experience designed to enable students to demonstrate readiness for professional registration. Students will undertake a structured, supervised placement, where they are expected to apply professional reasoning and contribute meaningfully to service delivery. The module emphasises the development of leadership skills, increasing autonomy, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice, while supporting students in refining their professional identity. Reflective practice, supervision, and critical evaluation of their own performance are central to the learning process, preparing students for transition into the workforce.

Teaching / learning strategy arrow_forward The teaching and learning strategy will support students in preparing to transition from learners to entry-level practitioners. Through placement induction a combination of lecture material, seminars, tutorials and practical sessions will be undertaken to provide preparatory content and development of skills for practice. During placement, students engage in immersive experiential learning, taking on increasing responsibility, allowing for increasing autonomy throughout the placement, and to a level relevant to the practice context.
