Summary of content

The overall aim of the module is to provide an introduction to the nature and characteristics of entrepreneurial action. This will include analysis of entrepreneurial motivations and behaviours. In addition, the module will explore entrepreneurial attitudes to risk and innovation for double and triple bottom line businesses

This module explores the traits of entrepreneurs, what motivates entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs and how these people manage the innovation and entrepreneurship process. This process includes:
1.Entrepreneurial Goals and Context
2.Opportunity Recognition
3.Finding Resources
4.Venture Development
5.Value Creation

An awareness of the policy and political environment supporting entrepreneurship is also developed
