Summary of content

This module will allow students to advance their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in relation to the development vision in children and management of a wide range in refractive error and binocular vision anomalies. Building on foundational knowledge gained in previous modules, students will cover more concepts related to (i) management of complex visual needs and refractive error, (ii) a range of normal and abnormal binocular vision and (iii) management of paediatric patients. Through a programme of structured practical sessions and seminars, students will explore methods correction and management for a range of refractive and binocular vision statuses for adult and paediatric patients.
