Summary of content
This module provides the student with the skills to UV map and create textures for their 3D creations. This module will explore the latest texturing methods using game and vfx industry standard software and techniques. Students will explore the underlying principles of how textures interact with cg lighting and how they help define material shading properties. Students will also explore how to create materials in different software and gain an understanding of procedural texturing methods in order to create digital 3d assets that can be transferred between software.
