Summary of content This module offers students the opportunity to apply and refine their occupational therapy skills in a range of settings through a structured, supervised placement. It focuses on enhancing adaptability, cultural competence, and innovative practice. Students are expected to demonstrate increased autonomy in assessment and intervention, engage with service users from varied backgrounds, and contribute to service development through a dedicated project. The module encourages critical reflection on the role of occupational therapy in a range of contexts, supports interprofessional collaboration, and promotes the integration of theory, evidence, and reasoning into practice.
