Summary of content

In this module students will be introduced to various key concepts related to spectacle frames and lenses. Through a programme of pre-recorded lectures, students will learn the theoretical principles of spectacle frame and lens design and manufacture, as well as the factors that influence the appropriate choice of frame and lenses for a patient. In accompanying practical sessions, students will learn how this theory may be applied to clinical practice and will develop a range of skills for measuring, fitting, and adjusting spectacles.
