Glasgow Caledonian is top university in Scotland for key graduate employment outcomes

Glasgow Caledonian University is the top university in Scotland for graduates in employment and/or further study, according to the latest national Graduate Outcomes survey by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).

Ninety-two percent of the University’s graduates are in employment and/or further study 15 months after graduating – 3% above the Scottish sector average. Glasgow Caledonian has the highest proportion of graduates in full-time employment,  outperforming the sector by 8%.

In line with the Scottish sector average, the proportion of graduates in highly skilled occupations stands at 78%.

Graduates also reported high satisfaction with the relevance and value of their roles:

  • 87% agreed their current activity is meaningful
  • 78% said their activity aligns with future career plans
  • 73% felt they are using what they learned during their studies

These positive reflections place Glasgow Caledonian above the Scottish sector average on all three measures.
