GCU Fashion Showcase 2025 celebrates the future of fashion

More than 75 outfits featured in the show

GCU Fashion Showcase returned to campus in style with a spectacular runway show and creative exhibition.

The 2025 collection featured outfits and accessories created for live industry projects with Harris Tweed Hebrides, sportswear giant Nike and highland wear outfitter MacGregor and MacDuff.

Hosted by Dr Mark Hogarth, Brand Ambassador at Harris Tweed Hebrides and a member of the University's Fashion Advisory Board, the annual celebration also featured branding projects created in collaboration with Nike, Sevenstore and FORTY.

Fellow Advisory Board members Anthony Burns, Chief Operating Officer of ACS Clothing; Jonathan Chippindale, Co-Founder of Holition; and Jane Shepherdson, Chair of My Wardrobe HQ, were also on hand to interview students about their designs.

Dr Shirley Rate, Dean of Glasgow School for Business and Society, said: "What an incredible event. It's a real celebration of innovation and creativity and the future of fashion. I am bursting with pride for our students.

"I would like to say a sincere thank you to our advisory board and our valuable industry partners, in particular, Harris Tweed Hebrides, Nike, Forty Clothing, MacGregor and McDuff, Gannet, Next, ACS Clothing, and SEVENSTORE for their support for the show, the exhibition and everything they contribute to our students both in the classroom and their sectors.

"Their contribution makes a huge difference to our students both in terms of their experience and their employability."
