Al Habeeb Common Good Scholarship

The Al Habeeb Common Good Scholarship programme provides vital financial support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds transitioning from college onto Glasgow Caledonian University’s BSc (Hons) Computing programme starting in September 2024.

Supported by the donor, Mr Habeebullah OBE, the scholarships aim to provide widening access support to talented computing students, as part of his commitment to enact positive change in disadvantaged communities through higher education.

Successful scholarship recipients will receive an annual stipend of £1500 for a maximum of two years, helping to alleviate financial pressures and enabling students to focus on reaching their full potential, excelling academically, and strengthening their longer-term career prospects.
