Health commitment
Please read the Health Commitment Statement before you purchase a membership.
Alternative shower-only entry

Lockers for hire
Subject to availability, there are lockers available to hire for either six or 12 months as part of a locker membership. There are a variety of sizes able to store a change of clothes, personal hygiene items, equipment and supplements, for example, instead of carrying them to and from the ARC.
For peace of mind, all lockers for hire are in communal areas covered by CCTV.
Membership options
Our largest lockers, coloured blue and located around the ground floor lift, are available for hire for six months for £20 or 12 months for £30.
All other lockers, grey and red, for hire are available for six months for £15 or 12 months for £25.
Available at the ARC reception desk only
A locker membership can only be purchased in person from the ARC reception desk.
Red lockers at the end of the ground floor corridor are key-operated - you'll be given a key to use for the locker (the key remains the property of ARC).
Grey lockers and blue lockers around the ground floor lift require a padlock - you can bring your own, or you can purchase one from the ARC reception desk for £4. Grey lockers at either side of the main sports hall entrance require a padlock.
A locker membership is subject to specific terms and conditions as stated on the membership form, in addition to our general conditions of use. As with all memberships, please be prepared to show photographic identification at the point of purchase.
Stand-alone or add-on option
A locker membership can be a stand-alone membership, or it can be taken in addition to a gym membership - but please note the difference between lockers for hire and non-rental lockers. As a stand-alone membership, only access to the locker is permitted - access to any other area in the ARC, such as showers or gym use, is not permitted unless a separate admission fee is paid or an applicable membership is active.
Locker cleanliness
While a locker is being hired as part of a membership, it is the responsibility of the member to ensure that perishable food and unclean clothing is not stored in the locker, so that unpleasant odours in the corridor are prevented. Customers can ask staff at the reception desk for a cleaning solution spray.
Non-rental lockers
As well as lockers available for hire as a locker membership, there are also more than 150 non-rental lockers on the ground floor and 15 in the male changing room available to use when at the ARC. All lockers require a padlock, so please remember to bring one, or a padlock can be purchased from the ARC reception desk for £4. The ARC doesn't accept any responsibility or liability for belongings left in an unsecured locker or otherwise.
For peace of mind, all non-rental lockers, except those located in the male changing room, are covered by CCTV.
For security reasons, you must securely store personal belongings in lockers. Taking bags, coats and similar items into any gym area is not permitted.
Overnight use not permitted
Non-rental lockers are required to be emptied and left unoccupied overnight. ARC staff can cut padlocks and remove items from lockers if used overnight. Locker contents will be bagged and stored as lost property. A replacement padlock will not be provided.
For security reasons, you must securely store personal belongings in lockers.
Lost property
The ARC is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
Lost property will not be kept in the ARC for more than four weeks.
