Gold memberships

From 1 August

A gold membership will no longer include a one hour slot per day for the use of a basketball hoop or to play badminton or table tennis - a fee of £2 per hour will now apply (discounted from £4.50).

Please note that this change applies to all gold memberships, including  student semester memberships.

Use of our gym equipment anytime during opening hours and attending any of our timetabled classes remain part of a gold membership. You can also still meet with one of our qualified instructors for a gym induction and fitness programme.

The ARC will review changes after October 2023 and will make adjustments if necessary.

Bronze (off-peak) memberships

From 1 August

A bronze (off-peak) membership does not include the use a basketball hoop or to play badminton or table tennis, instead the member will now be charged £4.50 per hour.

Pay as you go (PAYG) entry

From 1 August

Those without a membership who wish to use the gym, attend our classes or use a basketball hoop or play badminton or table tennis will now be charged £4.50.

Please note that the PAYG fee is per activity - eg using the gym will cost £4.50 then using a basketball hoop for an hour will also cost £4.50. The PAYG fee is intended for people who infrequently use our facilities, but if you intend to use the gym, go to our classes or use a basketball hoop or play badminton or table tennis on a regular basis, a gold membership would be a suitable option.
