Relax and Renew space

We invite you to come and enjoy our wellbeing space, Relax and Renew, located on level 0 of the Sir Alex Ferguson Library.

The Relax and Renew space aims to enrich the wellbeing of all our users, by providing a relaxing, contemplative space where you can take a break from your academic studies or your work day and connect with others from the GCU community.

Relax and Renew provides a safe space where you can browse and engage with a selection of resources related to wellbeing and mental health, including self-care resources and our fiction and non-fiction book collections - either on your own or with friends.

For our users who are not currently on campus, the library has collated a range of online wellbeing resources to help you manage your wellbeing. Visit our online wellbeing resource list.

Relax and Renew aims to positively contribute to your health and wellbeing throughout your GCU experience, in which a good work and life balance and spending time with friends are essential. As part of our commitment to this goal, the wellbeing space will be available to groups and clubs to host a range of events to help encourage creativeness and togetherness across the GCU community.

If you have any ideas for events or would like to suggest an item to add to our wellbeing collection, please contact us at: relaxandrenew@gcu.ac.uk

If you would like to learn more about or engage with further support for your mental health at GCU, please visit the Student Wellbeing Service on level 1 of the George Moore Building or visit the Student Wellbeing Service webpage for more information and contact details.
