A chance to engage with the University for the Common Good
Staff, students and key people from the wider community are invited to hear from our new Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Steve Decent, and his vision for the future, at a special online event.
Our annual stakeholder event is an important opportunity for us to update our alumni, donors, partners and friends on key University developments, and importantly for us to hear from them. At this year’s event, on Wednesday, February 15, Professor Decent will discuss his first impressions of the University, and how he intends to take Glasgow Caledonian from strength to strength in the years ahead. He will then join our Chair of Court Rob Woodward in conversation.
You will also get the chance to hear from our research colleagues who are leading our new £2.5million Beyond Blood Borne Virus (BBV) programme to combat HIV and Hepatitis C, and a first-hand account of the University’s student experience, from one of our students.
There will also be a panel discussion, where the Principal and Chair of Court will be joined by colleagues to answer your questions, which you can submit in advance when registering for the event.
The event will take place from 4pm to 5pm. To book a place, please register on Eventbrite.
