Work at Height
The legislation that covers working at height is the Work at Height Regulations 2005. Work at height means work in any place where, if there were no precautions in place, a person could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury. There is no minimum height at which the Regulations apply and also apply to the protection of people being struck by falling objects or persons. Examples of this include working on a ladder or flat roof, could fall through a fragile roof or could fall into an opening in a floor or hole in the ground.
