Usage costs and tariffs

Vodafone is the current supplier of mobile voice and data services. Usage costs on Vodafone numbers are:

Basic Talk and Text Mobile

£0.80 per month (includes all calls and texts except premium and international)

Smartphone

£3.44 per month (all calls and texts except premium and international and a 5GB data allowance)

Data Only Device (such as an iPad or Broadband Dongle)

£2.64 per month (5GB data allowance)

• There is no contract commitment period on new numbers (they can be cancelled at any time without incurring additional costs).
• Out of bundle data use (in other words, use over 5GB) - "£0.05 per MB (or part thereof) per month capped at £5.00 for the first 250MB of usage and £5.00 per 250MB (or part thereof) per month thereafter".
• The data allowance can be increased to 10GB for an extra £2.64 per month.

Prior to April 2016, mobile voice and data services were supplied by Everything Everywhere (EE). Usage costs on EE numbers are:

Basic Talk and Text Mobile

£1 per month line rental (calls and texts charged separately)

iPhone

£9 per month (calls and texts charges separately, unlimited data - 750 MB fair usage)

Data Only Devices (such as an iPad or Broadband Dongle)

£7 per month (5GB data allowance - out of bundle use £0.04 per MB)

• There is a 2 year contract commitment on EE numbers (i.e. remaining fixed costs are due if number cancelled within contract period)
