What is the GCU Student Experience Survey?

The GCU Student Experience Survey (GCU SES) is an annual survey aimed at non-final year undergraduates. Final year undergraduates are invited to take part in the National Student Survey. The GCU SES gives you the opportunity to provide feedback on your course experience at Glasgow Caledonian University so far.
The survey includes core questions on aspects of your student experience such as the teaching on your course, assessment and feedback, academic support, and other key areas. You also get the chance to comment on your individual module experience at the end of the questionnaire.
The responses helps the University understand what we are doing well, and what we could do better, so we can enhance the student experience for you and your fellow students at Glasgow Caledonian.
Your privacy comes first

The feedback you provide is completely confidential and all data is held securely. Results are shared anonymously with your programme leaders and other School staff to help them make improvements to courses. No individual students are identified in the results. Reports only include aggregated data (for example 85% of students ‘Agreed’ and 15% ‘Disagreed’ with the statement and so on), as well as any comments provided. Your name will never be linked to your responses or comments in these reports. Some information held by the University, for example your course of study, is attached to your response so that you do not have to provide it. This data is only used for aggregated reporting and analysis purposes.
The GCU Student Experience Survey follows the University's Data Protection guidelines. Further information can also be found in the University's student privacy notice.
