GCU MFA Registration
Staff are required to carry out MFA for their individual user accounts. Since 2021, the University has been using a system called PingID to do this. However, we are now upgrading to a new system, GCU MFA, for a much-improved defence against cyber threats.
You will initially use the new platform to log on to your device, while continuing to use PingID to access the VPN and other systems that require VPN access. In due course, GCU MFA will be migrated to all our systems and apps, and PingID will be decommissioned (an email will be sent to all staff before then, likely to be towards the end of 2024).
New members of staff are required to register for both PingID and GCU MFA.
