Anniversary Weekend: 28 – 30 August 2026
GCU’s 150th Anniversary Weekend
Join us as the University throws open our doors for a vibrant, celebratory weekend marking 150 years since our founding institution, the Glasgow School of Cookery, welcomed its first cohort of students.
Across three days, we’ll bring our campus to life with a dynamic programme of events designed to welcome alumni, students, staff, partners, neighbours and visitors of all ages. Whether you have a lifelong connection to GCU or are visiting for the first time, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
From inspiring conversations and behind-the-scenes tours to live music, exhibitions, community activities and hands-on experiences, there’s plenty to discover. GCU is a place where everyone belongs, and this weekend is the perfect time to experience it.
