On Thursday 26 February, Glasgow Caledonian University marks 150 years since the Glasgow School of Cookery first opened its doors with a mission to serve the Common Good.

Today, that mission continues through our 150th Anniversary Campaign – supporting care-experienced, estranged, and underrepresented students with wraparound scholarships that go beyond fees to include mentoring, travel awards, and living support.

On Anniversary Day, we’ll be posting stories from students, staff, alumni, and supporters across social media – showing what GCU means, why access matters, and how donor generosity changes lives.
