Glasgow Caledonian University provides one of the best learning environments in the UK at our modern campus in the heart of Glasgow.
The hub of the campus is our striking Sir Alex Ferguson Library. Our award-winning library houses hundreds of thousands of books, 1200 study spaces, over 350 computers and the University’s Archives and Special Collections.
- Sir Alex Ferguson Library
The Sir Alex Ferguson Library is our 250,000-book, high-tech library includes reference copies of every curriculum book and contains quiet and social study areas with workstations, desks and sofas.
- Refectory and Cafes
The largest university facility of its type in Scotland, the refectory serves everything from a healthy breakfast to a hearty lunch at student-friendly prices. Our learning cyber café, Real@Caledonian, is an attractive, friendly environment in which to work and relax. The area contains sofas, study desks and computer workstations for 190 students.
- Caledonian Court
Set in landscaped grounds across the road from the University, Caledonian Court provides safe, friendly and well-equipped accommodation for 660 students.
- GCU Vision Centre
The modern purpose built Vision Centre is equipped to the highest standards and is housed in modern purpose built facility situated on the Ground Floor of the Govan Mbeki Health Building.
- Physiotherapy at GCUClinic
Physiotherapy@GCUClinic offers a range of specialist health care services to assess and manage injuries, long-term health conditions or to enhance and improve general health and wellbeing. With access to state of the art rehabilitation equipment, the Clinic can fully assess each client and tailor exercise and rehabilitation programmes to their requirements.
Our bright, modern health and fitness centre plays host to numerous affordable classes and activities, and is home to the many University sports clubs, a hair salon and spa.
