Finally, you'll explore the practical application of your digital marketing skills to conceptualise, design and present a digital communications campaign where you'll be required to demonstrate the value of the creation of a digital communications strategy to the client organisation.

Learning and Development for Individuals, Organisations and Society

On this module you'll develop an understanding of the concepts, issues and stakeholders associated with learning and development at three distinct levels – individual, organisational, and societal.
Starting with individual learning, you'll develop an understanding of adult learning theory which underpins effective learning provision. You'll also develop understanding of the use and implementation of reflective practice as a learning approach and will undertake reflective critical analysis of yourr own personal development, your attitudes to learning, and opportunities for ongoing development.
The second theme – organisational learning – begins with discussion of the learning organisation culture followed by examination of the process used to design, deliver, and evaluate organisational learning interventions. Current contemporary organisational learning topics such as digital learning, leadership development and knowledge management will also be considered.
The final theme – learning and society – analyses the impact of individual and workplace learning on wider society. This theme discusses the stakeholder perspectives and responsibilities in learning as well as examining current national learning initiatives as well as outlining various international approaches to learning.
You'll apply learning and development theory to the design, facilitation, and evaluation of a student-led learning event and will develop reflective learning skills through the completion of a reflective activity as part of module assessment and you'll also engage critically with some key learning concepts as part of the assessment.
