Sharron graduated from the Oswestry and North Staffordshire School of Physiotherapy in 1993. She specialised in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. Sharron started teaching in 1997 as an Associate Lecturer at Keele University. In 2005 she moved to education full time at Glasgow Caledonian University. As a senior lecturer at GCU Sharron was the Programme Leader for the MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) programme and International Lead for the Department of Psychology, Social Work and Allied Health Sciences. Sharron moved to the Associate Dean Role International in May 2016 and in May 2020 returned to her role as Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy. Sharron’s Doctoral work relates to Inteprofessional education and she supervises doctoral candidates exploring interprofessional education and aspects of internationalisation.
