Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Singh is a Lecturer in Department of Cyber Security and Networks at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), UK. Before joining GCU, he was working as Associate Professor in Computer Science at Shyam Lal College (Evening), University of Delhi, INDIA. He has acquired both Masters and Ph.D. in Cyber Security from University of Birmingham, UK.
He obtained his Masters in Computer Security as a sponsored candidate from University of Delhi after getting selected under Faculty Training Programme. Subsequently, he was awarded a fully-funded Ph.D. studentship by School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham.
During his Ph.D., under the supervision of Dr. Tom Chothia at the University of Birmingham, he worked on fomralising the stealthiness of attacks on security protocols. They also developed a novel and economical methodology of improving security protocol specifications by modelling just the attacks and not the complete protocol
