Michail Mavroudis is a Lecturer at the Institute of University to Business Education department at Glasgow Caledonian University. Michail’s key role as a lecturer in Work Based Learning is to support students develop personal and professional attributes expected and indeed crucial of a contemporary workforce. He facilitates students to deliver work-based projects with impact so that organisations can see the lasting impact teaching can bring. Through working collaboratively with employers-clients and students, Michail seeks to fulfil promises made to organisations and strengthen the skills of the contemporary workforce. Michail is the Certificate Level Leader for the two major international programmes run by U2B – CIRO in UK and Ireland and Transnet in South Africa.

Michail is completing his Doctoral Research at the Marketing Department at University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, where he also has numerous years' expertise in designing and delivering a range of modules across departments in the Business School. Michail’s main research interests are Employee Work Life Balance, Internal Marketing and Services Marketing. During his doctoral studies, Michail has considerable teaching experience in the subject areas of retail marketing, international marketing, management and HR management in which he has held responsibility over all areas of teaching provision, including: content design (course curricula/assessments/examinations); delivery

(digital/blended, large-audience lecturing, and small-group tutorials); UG mentoring; assessment and examination grading and feedback; and course evaluation and evidence-based module refinement. His research and industry experiences are closely connected, drawing on previous roles he has held in marketing and business roles in the UK and international settings.
