Dr Margaret-Anne Houston is an experienced lecturer at undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD and post-experience study in the areas of consumer policy and consumer rights education, including financial literacy; counterfeiting and consumer downloading; and research methods.

Her areas of research are in consumer policy issues, both national and international, consumer education, consumer detriment, and consumers’ perception of risk, especially linked to consumer scams and frauds.
