Joe started as a full-time PhD researcher in October 2018. His PhD project aims to explore the individual and social factors that encourage stroke survivors to positively reconfigure their identity following stroke. Before undertaking this project, Joe graduated with a BSc in Social Sciences and Media from Glasgow Caledonian University. His PhD is due for completion in October 2021.
