Dr Janet Finlayson

Janet Finlayson is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Health and Life Sciences and the Institute of Applied Health Research. Janet is a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), who previously worked with adults and children with learning disabilities (intellectual disabilities) in community/supported living settings. Janet completed her BA in Social Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University, and then completed her MPhil in Social Science Research and PhD at the University of Glasgow. Janet’s research interests are aimed at improving the health, well-being and rights of persons with learning disabilities and their carers.
