Jane is Head of Department of Finance, Accountancy and Risk, as well as a Senior Lecturer in Accountancy, teaching at both postgraduate and undergraduate level, leading modules in Ethics, Governance and Responsible Leadership across GSBS.

Prior to Jane’s move to academia, she was a Director of Finance in the engineering industry where she worked for 18 years.

Jane’s PhD thesis focused on Ethics, Virtue and Decision-Making, investigating the ethical decision-making processes of accountants in business, establishing a philosophical and psychological framework to explain moral reasoning.  Jane continues to research in this area.
